Communicating Password:

When coordinating with vendors, users, or anyone else that may need specific access to sensitive areas of your network, it is always a good idea to take extra precautions because you never know who is watching.

When communicating passwords, username, and access instructions, it is always best to discuss it over the phone but when that is not an option, how else can you do it? Well, you can split up the instructions, passwords, user account information into separate emails, text messages, or even instant messages. By dividing sensitive information into different segments that can be sent over different means of telecommunication, you are decreasing the risk of a hacker gaining access to your system. If all of this sensitive data is sent in one email and it gets intercepted, you are in for a world of hurt.
